The EdgeHalt® Ladder Safety Gate from PS Safety Access® is a self-closing safety gate designed to prevent falls at ladder access points and elevated floor openings.

This gate from PS Safety Access® is used at fixed ladders, roof hatches, mezzanine ladder access points, elevated floor openings and ground-level openings where traffic flow needs to be restricted.

Yes. The EdgeHalt® Ladder Safety Gate is designed to meet applicable OSHA and ANSI requirements for guardrail systems at elevated openings. It also meets Canadian COHS requirements. The EdgeHalt Adjustable Safety Gate version meets all of these standards and carries a CE label.

Yes. This gate from PS Safety Access® automatically closes after use to ensure the opening remains protected.

Yes. Standard ladder safety gates from PS Safety Access® include a 42-inch top rail and a mid-rail. A full-height version is available and includes a safety toeboard to meet full guardrail requirements.

To maintain three points of contact, restricting access is generally not recommended. For applications requiring access control, an optional lock-out kit is available to prevent unauthorized access.

Available finishes on this gate from PS Safety Access® include powder-coated safety yellow, hot-dip galvanized steel, mill-finish 304 stainless steel and aluminum for corrosive environments. Custom RAL colors are also available.

Yes. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor industrial environments. For outdoor or harsh environments, hot-dip galvanized steel or 304 stainless steel is recommended.

Yes. The EdgeHalt® Ladder Safety Gate from PS Safety Access® includes a limited lifetime guarantee. The spring mechanism has been tested to over one million cycles. Replacement springs are provided if a spring fails.

EdgeSafe® Smart Gate

The EdgeSafe® Smart Gate from PS Safety Access® is a spring-assisted access gate designed for fall protection, controlled access and equipment guarding where larger openings are required.

It is commonly installed at dock door openings, machinery access points, restricted areas, and pedestrian or forklift openings.

Yes. The EdgeSafe® Smart Gate from PS Safety Access® is designed to support OSHA requirements for controlled access and fall protection. Larger double gate models (DBL 192, 240, 288) are intended for guarding purposes and do not meet OSHA fall-protection standards.

No. This gate from PS Safety Access® uses a spring-assisted mechanism that allows it to remain open when fully raised. Once closure is initiated, the gate returns to the closed position unassisted. Optional powered operators are available.

The gate is operated by lifting at the end and walking it upward. The spring-assisted design offsets the weight of the gate for smooth and controlled operation.

They are designed for pallet transfer, material loading and mezzanine edge protection.

Yes. SafeMezz® gates from PS Safety Access® are designed to meet OSHA requirements for fall protection at elevated material handling locations. The SafeMezz360™ also meets applicable ANSI standards.

Sensors detect pedestrian movement at access points and activate LED visual alerts to warn equipment operators.
