Ladder Safety Gate Adapter Bracket
PS Safety Access™ offers optional Adapter Brackets for customers with unique mounting needs. If mounting your EdgeHalt Ladder Safety Gate to angle iron, flat bar, or a non-standard railing system, gate bolts directly to existing railing (hardware not included) or by purchasing and using a ‘no drill’ adapter bracket. Adapter Brackets are utilized ONLY when a customer cannot use standard gate mounting hardware and/or does not want to drill into their existing railing system.
Please reference Adapter Bracket mounting guidelines below. Adapter Brackets are available in three finishes: Powder Coat Yellow, Stainless Steel or Hot Dipped Galvanized. This product is compatible with all PS Safety Access EdgeHalt Ladder Safety Gate products.
IMPORTANT: Optional Adapter Brackets narrow the opening by 2-1/2”. Take this into consideration on the size gate you are purchasing to make sure you get the proper size gate for your opening. Example: a 24” opening would shrink to 21-1/2” when adapter brackets are used.

Standard Railing, Round pipe up to 2″ outside diameter (O.D.) or square tubing up to 1.5″ x 1.5″ outside diameter (O.D.)
Mounting hardware included with purchase of Ladder Safety Gate.
Large Pipe Railing, Round pipe <2″ to 3.75″ outside diameter (O.D.) or square tubing <1.5″ x 1.5″ to 3″ x 3″ outside diameter (O.D.)
Gate mounts directly to existing railing system (hardware not included) or by purchasing a Large Pipe Adapter Bracket.
Angle Iron, up to 3.75″, 1/4″ max thickness
Gate mounts directly to existing railing system (hardware not included) or by purchasing Angle Iron Adapter Bracket.
Flat Bar, up to 4″
Gate mounts directly to existing railing system (hardware not included) or by purchasing a Flat Bar Adapter Bracket.
